To help you on your quest for meaningful connection, Harvard Prof. Alison Wood Brooks will join the HBS Club of Northern California and Shannon’s Circle for a very special event. Come learn about the cutting-edge science and art of conversation with Prof. Brooks, a behavioral scientist and expert on the science of conversation, mother of three, lead singer of a pop-folk band, creator of the hit course “TALK: How to talk gooder in business and life” at Harvard Business School, and author of the ground-breaking new book “TALK: The science of conversation and the art of being ourselves.”
At the event, Dr. Brooks will share about the book and lead the group through fun-and-easy conversation exercises—followed by speed mingling for singles coordinated by Shannon Lundgren (HBS ‘94) Professional Matchmaker and Founder of Shannon’s Circle. Attendees will leave the event with new conversation strategies to use in their lives, and new people to talk to on Valentine’s Day and beyond.
